Scopus awarded contract by BP Azerbaijan to support them on their new Caspian Sea COP construction project.

Due to substantial increase in projects, Scopus are now actively seeking to recruit Dimensional Control Surveyors at all levels from Monday 7th March 2011. Those who have previously applied unsuccesfully are welcome to re-submit their details and cv's.

Scopus awarded contract for Build Control of new build "FPSO Cascade" being built in Singapore by Advanced Production & Loading inc (APL)

Scopus have opened up, what we believe to be, the first dimensional control and laser scanning training centre in the world.
To meet the ever increasing demand for our services it has become necessary to initiate an aggresive internal training program.
We hope to train over 20 dimensional control surveyors each year in our purpose built training centre built at our head office in Aberdeen.

A mock-up of an offshore module has been built to give trainees first hand experience of what to expect when mobilised offshore and this together with hands on experience with the latest survey hardware and software will ensure that trainees are sent offshore fully conversant with the Scopus methods and procedures.

A classroom has been constructed where all HSE/QA procedures and legislation are made aware to all trainees prior to any offshore trips.

Scopus Engineering are currently looking to recruit Dimensional Control surveyors with all levels of experience.
Those with limited experience will be trained in-house to the required levels.

Scopus awarded 3 year contract to support Talisman Energy UK Ltd with Dimensional Control services on all of their North Sea Installations.

Scopus Engineering have committed to exhibiting at the Kazakhstan Oil and gas show to be held in Almaty between 7th and 10th October 2008.

It is our intention to expand our Caspian commitment in Baku to Kazakhstan and see the show as a means of demonstrating our services to the Kazakhstan companies and operators.

Scopus will exhibit as part of the EIC group.

Scopus have been awarded a 3 year Sub-contract to support Amec Group on their new British Gas ISC contract.

Scopus awarded 2 year Sub-contact to support Amec Group on their new Farfield Energy ISC contract.

Sigma 3 award Scopus sub-contract till August 2010 to support them on their Shell ISC contract covering all Shell Northern, Central and Mature assets.
